My name is Ioannis Kountouris, owner of Private Chef Signatures. Born and raised in Crete, in a family that has always been connected to the art of cooking and pastry, gastronomy has been a way of life for me and not just a professional choice.
From a young age, through the daily routine of the family kitchen, I came into contact with the authentic flavours and secrets of the Cretan tradition, which shaped me as a cook and a person.
With over 20 years of professional cooking experience, I have been blessed to have worked in high-end restaurants, luxury hotels and yachts on various islands and countries abroad. This experience has allowed me to work with exceptional chefs and gain knowledge of international culinary traditions and techniques.
The exposure to different cultures and the level of demands of these places has helped me to evolve and expand my creative potential.
I am also the founder of Private Chef Signatures, which focuses on providing exceptional dining experiences tailored to the needs of my clients.
This approach has helped me develop an even more personal connection with my guests, understanding their preferences and creating for them flavors that take them on a journey.
